This collection showcases three distinct album covers: one conceptual design and two real-world client releases. Spanning multiple sub-genres of modern R&B, the project explores how custom typography, curated imagery, and structural packaging combine to create distinct musical narratives. The challenge across all three projects was translating deep emotional themes of magnetic attraction, nostalgic energy, and dark, late-night passions into high-impact visual systems that resonate with listeners instantly. By tailoring the design style to each artist's unique identity, the collection demonstrates versatility in music industry branding and the ability to turn abstract audio concepts into compelling physical and digital art.
ALLURE — JAYO (CONCEPTUAL RELEASE)
Allure by JayO is a conceptual album project exploring the magnetic, intoxicating pull of attraction. The name of this album is grounded in the definition of the word itself; which is the power to charm or fascinate through tempting qualities. The visual narrative centers on the mesmerizing impression of a woman that the artist, JayO, becomes acquainted with. The artwork translates this irresistible, hypnotic pull into a moody, sultry visual identity that feels both sophisticated and deeply intimate.
20TENN — TENN (CLIENT RELEASE)
20TENN by TENN is an EP identity that bridges two distinct eras and geographies. The visual language needed to capture the artist's specific sonic blend: the sharp, late-night energy of the contemporary UK urban scene fused with the warm, velvety nostalgia of early-2000s and 2010s American R&B. The final design relies on nostalgic texture and clean typography to honor the era that inspired the project's title.
FLIGHTS & FEELINGS — JAY TRILLIONZ (CLIENT RELEASE)
Flights & Feelings by Jay Trillionz is a visual exploration of modern dark R&B. The cover art and supporting graphics are meticulously designed to echo the album’s overarching themes of love, passion, and intense lust. Utilizing heavy shadows, atmospheric lighting, and striking typography, the visual identity mirrors the nocturnal, cinematic, and emotionally raw tone of the music.
